Sunny Sinuk River

On Saturday Evening we flew to the Sinuk River to try our hand at fishing. It was a beautiful night, if we did not catch any Silvers it was still worth getting out.

The ocean seemed almost tropical as the sun glistened off the surface. The warm breeze felt foreign. It was such an amazing night.

Along the bank of the mouth were bear tracks, letting us know we were not the only ones who enjoyed this spot that day.

We did not catch any "keepers" on our journey to the Sinuk River. But the best "catch" of all was finding this rare letter in the tundra below as we were flying back to Nome. Yes, the letter Z, I told my pilot, it must be a Z for Zeb! Pretty odd occurrence on this oddly amazing night.

Hopefully our next entry will be tales of Sheep Hunting.
