Thing 2 is One!

We celebrated our little thing's first bday on Saturday.  It was really on Friday but we went to the Trunk or Treating at the school carnival for a different kind of celebration. Each girl went as the "thing" that matched their age. ...... Hence A was Thing 1.

 She has recently become facinated by elephants, and since we couldn't find all the fixings for the duck party I wanted to do..... we changed it to Jungle.  

Her cake was a low sugar variation with cream cheese yogurt frosting...... it tasted pretty good!

What wouldn't taste good covered with her favorite food.... Cheerios?

 We had a wonderful celebration with grandma and grandpa Scherer and auntie Marilou.  

 At 12 months she is not quite brave enough to walk alone but give her something to push or hold and she cruises.  She has four teeth with two more wanting to emerge.  She is inquisitive and loves to scream.  She can hold her own in a conflict with big sister and is always laughing.

It has been a wild 12 months and we look forward to many more adventures with this little "thing.".
