This past weekend, we traveled to Council, Alaska. After a 72 mile, bumpy and dusty ride, we made it safe and sound. We stayed with a friend who had family ties in Council that date back to the beginning of the town, in fact, his grandpa was a teacher at the school. We had a great time, fishing, canoeing, hot tubbing, saunaing, exploring, and overall enjoying the sun! I learned how to play beanbags and relax after my week of studying for my class. Tried to fly fish a bit, but kept losing my flies, guess I need some more practice :) The way home we caught a glimpse of some thunderstorms and a mama and baby moose. Tisuk had fun too! She hurt her paw and is currently recouperating on the couch next to me.
